Volker Fitz Takes Over Group-Wide Responsibility as Chief Sales Officer of the Eirich Group

Hardheim, September 2026 – The EIRICH Group, a globally recognized specialist in mixing technology and processing systems, appointed its long-time sales manager, Volker Fitz, as Group-wide Chief Sales Officer (CSO) effective September 1. The focus is on Eirich’s commitment to offering customers worldwide tailor-made and customized solutions for the best possible products and processes. This requires a deep understanding of the specific demands of each market. With its 16 places of installationworldwide, the company is close to customers and markets and brings industry-specific know-how directly on site.

With the newly created position of Chief Sales Officer, EIRICH is promoting close networking of its sales organization on a global scale in order to comprehensively fulfill its performance promise internationally.

Many Years of Experience, Steady Career Progression

Volker Fitz has been closely associated with the Eirich Group for many years. He began his career in the Technical Sales Department in 2000. This was followed by roles with increasing responsibility: Starting in 2014, he led the sales department for Asia before taking over overall management of the sales department at the Hardheim location in 2018. He has also served as an authorized signatory for the company since 2024. With his appointment as Chief Sales Officer, he is now taking the next step in his consistent track within the corporate group.

Focus on Strategic Management

As CSO, Volker Fitz is responsible for the strategic management of the Eirich Group’s global sales activities. His key responsibilities include, in particular:

  • the advancement of markets and customer industries,
  • the systematic exchange of best practices among the companies,
  • and the closer integration of sales, engineering, product management, and development across all Eirich companies worldwide.

Technical guidance of the international sales organization will be centralized under the Chief Sales Officer going forward. Close, collaborative partnership between the CSO and local sales teams is an essential component part of the new structure. “Our markets in Asia, Europe, and the Americas are evolving in increasingly different ways,” explains Stephan Eirich, Managing Director of Maschinenfabrik Gustav Eirich GmbH & Co. KG. “But in our view, that is precisely what calls for centralized sales control. Volker Fitz has known our organization for over 25 years from nearly every perspective—from the Technical Sales Department to site management. It is precisely this understanding that will enable him to advance the networking of our sales activities in a way that aligns with our corporate identity and value proposition.”

“Our sales department is growing alongside the international expansion of our group,” adds Volker Fitz regarding his new role. “The goal is to integrate our existing know-how and knowledge of the various site-specific requirements on an international level, thereby creating synergies. We provide support services to our customers worldwide with a unified voice and consistent standards. A customer in São Paulo receives the same quality of consultation as a customer in Hardheim—even if the path to achieving that varies significantly depending on the market.”
